The PPP Promise - The PPP Success?

Well PPP promised a high CPM rate on their ads. The owner, Charles Heflin, has been updating the PPP Blog very regularly on the updates about it. Ads have recently started playing on many websites, with 100,000 ads being sent out over the few days. Some are still without plays, but everyone should expect ads over the next couple of weeks.

Now that ads are actually playing on some websites, we can see if the high rates they promised are actually succeeding to be played. Now, I’ve recently had 72 ad plays (Some of you might have heard them here on Site SEO), giving $0.24. Now, if you work out how much that actually pays, it works out at a CPM of $3.33. That is higher than most CPM ads, but still isn’t as high as they said. That being said though, they’re still in the soft launch and that could soon rise over time.

Referrals are interesting too. Users receive an extra 20% I believe from their referrals. I have also had a nice $2.76 from my referrals from 4067 ad plays. That gives me a CPM of $0.66 from my referrals. Now I’d say thats incredibly good considering a lot of networks give $0.50 - $1 CPM ads from your own site, but when you’re earning it from your friends, thats incredibly high.

PPP have also announced that their Spider has been removing bad sites from their network, and estimations of 2 million websites in the network is set to be lowered to a staggering 500,000 websites. Thats good for two reasons - The bad websites are being removed and also, there should be more ads being displayed on the sites that do deserve them, therefore giving more money for us decent publishers.

I therefore continue to advise using it.

Stumble it!
