Going full-time on Ebay

Most people just use Ebay as a part-time thing to earn a bit more extra cash while making money from their real job. However, there are some people who don’t have a “real job” and stick to Ebay to bring in most of the money, This short guide will give you some questions that you should ask yourself before the make the transition of going from part-time to full-time.

How much do I earn from Ebay now?
This is a very important question. Work out how long you spend on ebay-related activities each week, and then calculate your earnings per week, and eventually get your pay per hour. Then ask yourself, “if I was doing full-time hours, would I earn as much as I do now?”.

Do I have a good job/do I like my job?
If you have a well-paid job and you like it too, you might want to reconsider. Full-Time Ebay isn’t for everyone, its only for the people who really know that they can succeed.

Would I make much more money?
A lot of your time when you go full-time will probably end up being waiting on auctions to finish. If you’re selling low-value items, then going full-time could actually be a good move, but if you’re selling high-value items that cost a lot more, then you may run into some problems investing in more products in the first place.

Can I survive if it all goes wrong?
If you had a bad period of time where your sales were incredibly low, would you be able to survive through it? This is the most question of them all, because it is quite common for sales to drop in some places, and if you couldn’t live through it, then you would have a very big problem of no job.

If you have a good answer to all of these questions, then maybe you could go full-time on Ebay and hopefully be successful. However, its a very big risk making this transition, so you have to be certain that you could manage through it before you head straight into it.
