How to get onto the digg frontpage!

Here are some tips on how to get loads of diggs and to hopefully get your website on the frontpage of digg, for traffic reasons.

1. Microsoft suck - You may not think this (and I certainly don’t) but Digg users seem to love it - so try to make an article including this.

2. Mension Digg - Write an article about Digg. Digg users seem to love this, nobody quite knows why.

3. How-To - Digg Users also seem to like how-to articles where they actually learn something from it.

4. Latest News - If you’re one of the first to announce an important piece of news, then it is bound to get diggs!

5. Friends Digging - Ask friends to digg your article. It may not give you much, but it may give you that start that your article needs.

6. Digg Swaps - This is not at all recommended, but I’ve seen people do it. Go on popular forums and do swaps with people where you digg their article, they digg yours.

7. Catchy Title - Make the title catchy so that people would actually want to visit your article. Nobody will visit it if its just a boring title. Make it stand out!

8. Offending People - Offend people. Maybe you aren’t that sort of person, but people love it when you offend or insult other people, such as George Bush for example.

9. Good Layout - Layout your article in a nice way, such as bullet points, numbering, images etc… Nobody these days would like to digg an article that is just paragraph after paragraph. Maybe its good for some users, but its not for the Digg Community.

There are some tips on how to get onto the frontpage. If you follow these tips and put in some effort, you might just be one of the lucky people who end up on the frontpage. Good luck!
